Energy America is a US-based solar module manufacturer and EPC contractor, taking into consideration of our products and customers’ demand we have set up various manufacturing facilities around the globe that produces only the highest of quality which meets all global standards and modules made and tested for all climatic conditions.

Our Manufacturing factory locations include the United States of America, Germany, India, Taiwan, Japan, Turkey, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

Our vertically integrated business model covers the entire solar panel production process, from polysilicon to ingots and from solar cells to quality solar panels. Since 2010, our manufacturing capacity has grown from 3 MW to 6GW combined to date.

Through a commitment to innovative research and development, EA continues to set industry standards and benchmarks for performance and sustainability. We have been responsible for several global breakthroughs, having set fifteen world records for silicon cell efficiency and solar module power output since 2010.

In fact, many of our production lines feature innovations developed by our own dedicated technologists, scientists, and engineers, working together with equipment manufacturers. At our four state-of-the-art R&D centers — located in the USA, Korea, Cambodia, Germany, and Vietnam — we continue to set the standard in technology, economies of scale and quality control.

At its headquarters for Technology & Innovation in California, USA, EA has a unique setup of R&D, pilot production and testing enabling the company to develop both – high-tech products and innovative manufacturing methods. Thanks to this set-up, technological innovations are rapidly translated into mass production.

Corporate Governance

Jack Stone​

President & CEO

Jack Stone leads Energy America, which has the broadest renewable energy portfolio in the industry, including solar, on-shore wind, off-shore wind, hydro and energy storage.

In June 2011, Jack was appointed President of Qatar Energy and Executive Vice-President of Innovations. He oversees global renewable energy development including large scale power plant projects for Energy America.

Mathew Peters

Senior Vice President, Solar

Mathew Peters is an EA Company Officer and the VP of Solar Division. With more than 10GW solar module installed globally, EA is one of the world’s leading module suppliers. EA’s portfolio of module features rated capacities from 160W to 700W and are suited to meet the needs of a broad range of solar regimes.

Mathew is based in San Francisco, CA and manages over 1,000 employees worldwide.

Darrel Smith

Vice President, Solar Products

Darrel Smith is an EA Company Officer and the VP of Solar Products based in San Francisco, CA.

Darrel began working at Energy America in 2010, and throughout his career has held many positions that have progressively strengthened his product development expertise.

He has served as Quality Director, Deputy General Director of Solar Product Development, Head of Project Execution, Project Director for Global Power Plant Projects, and Managing Director for Middle East, all for Aramco’s renewable business.

DAVID ANTOUN

Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development

David Antoun serves as Energy America’s VP of Corporate Strategy and Business Development, responsible for driving the company’s strategy, mergers and acquisition and business activities.

Previously, he was the company’s VP of Engineering, where he established the EA brand and oversaw development of the industry’s first dealer network program. Prior to joining EA, David served as project manager at KBR. He has more than 10 years of industry experience, including management positions at Trina Solar.

Pat BUEHLER

Vice President, Product Development

Pat Buehler joined Energy America in 2016. In 2017, he was appointed to the Executive Committee in charge of R&D, in late 2018 he became COO, and in 2020 he was named VP of Product Development.

His career at Energy America has developed largely in the U.S, in addition to his operational functions in Italy, China, South Africa, and Latin America. Furthermore, he leads North American business as VP of Energy America.

Markus Kane

Chief Technology Officer

In April 2018, Markus was named Chief Technology Officer and is focused on driving Energy America’s TOPCON module platform.

Markus has extensive experience guiding strategic research and development activities and has served EA as Vice President and Chief Scientist.
